Timmins Slalom Derby 2018
The TSR is pleased to announce the 22nd Annual Slalom Derby. We are set to run Easter weekend, March 30 – April 1 and are expecting the northern snow to hold solid for a great race. We are looking forward to seeing old friends and faces and welcome newcomers to this gate smashing spring event.
Slalom Derby Date Change!
We have officially changed the date for the Timmins Slalom Derby to Easter weekend – March 30-April 1. This was done to avoid conflict with the U16 OCUP/Provincial finals taking place the prior weekend, as well as the Searchmont U12 speed camp. Based on recent years there is a great chance of still having enough snow to run a fun spring event. See you there!
Let there be SNOW!!!
Snow is on the ground and skiing is on everyone’s mind. Dryland continues every Saturday for the next 4 weeks. We are only a month away from the Tremblant pre-season training camp and the kids are getting excited!
Kamiskotia Snow Event
Come out to the Kamiskotia Snow Resort on Saturday, November 11 for the first ever Kam Snow Event. There will be a ski swap hosted by the Kamiskotia Ski Patrol where you can get new, gently used equipment of all types. There will also be local vendors as well as prizes and giveaways. The Timmins Ski Racers will be offering a Ski sharpening clinic with edge tuning and waxing for only $25 with proceeds to the hill. This is a great chance to get your skis in shape for the upcoming season.
Hope to see you there!
