Slalom Derby 2023
Another beautiful Slalom Derby day!!
It's a Wrap!
The Timmins Slalom Derby was once again a fun late season race. Thanks to all the athletes and coaches who made the long drive to Timmins for 3 days of gate bashing. We had some hard courses and a chilly third day but saw great enthusiasm from all the participants. Thanks to Mount Jamieson for all their support with grooming, early lifts and lunches! It was amazing to see so many old faces as well as new ones. We are already thinking ahead to next season so remember to book your hotels early. Keep March 24-26 clear next year!
Derby Update
With the recent dump of snow on top of a record year conditions couldn’t be better at Mount Jamieson Resort for the upcoming 2022 Slalom Derby. Get your registrations in soon! Hoodie submissions are due ASAP if you want to guarantee your size.

Timmins Slalom Derby
The Derby is back! After a Covid hiatus, the Timmins Ski Racers are proud to once again host the Timmins Slalom Derby in conjunction with the Mount Jamieson Ski Resort. We have put in for some stellar spring ski weather so come ready to smash some gates at the last big event of the season. We look forward to seeing all our old friends and hope to see a lot of new faces at the hill. Registrations will be through Alpine Points. The race notice is available on our Resource Page and is linked to the Alpine Ontario Race Calendar.

Season Start!
Welcome back skiers! TSR is excited to start the planning for the 2021-2022 ski and race season. A few important announcements:
- Registration will be taking place at the Timmins Ski Racers chalet at the Mount Jamieson Resort on Sunday, October 3 from 1-3pm. All of the registration forms are available on this website on the Resource Materials page or from any of the board members. Please print out the forms, complete them and bring them with you to registration.
- Covid 19 remains a concern and issue for the upcoming year though we are hoping it will have a significantly reduced impact on the ski season this year. We will still have protocols in place that may change based on guidance from the Public Health Unit. Our protocols are supplemental to all regulations in place by the Mount Jamieson Resort and strict adherence to Mount Jamieson protocols will be required.
- Our on site volunteer obligations at the Timmins Charitable Gaming Association will be restarting this fall in November. Volunteers will be required to have double vaccination as per the TCGA regulations. We are tremendously grateful to the TCGA for their ongoing support of our club throughout the lock downs over the last year.
Further communication to previous club members will be coming shortly. The AGM will likely be the third week of October and will again be a virtual format. Further details will be available after registration.
